The first time the Cart is run a new license should be sent to your server automatically, provided that:
When you downloaded the new version you entered the correct information (i.e. if for the cgi path you entered cgi-bin but your folder is named cgibin, the license will not be uploaded). Your permissions are correct. Your shopper.conf is not corrupted (you might not know that your file is corrupted)
If you can purchase items and view your license but you cannot get into your administrator, your shopper.conf file could be corrupted. Please contact PDG to get a default shopper.conf file.
License Error Codes:
-1 unable to open license file
-2 missing character in license file
-3 no secure site specified in license
-4 license has expired
-5 line 1 is empty or corrupt (check permissions)
-6 no secure site specified in license
-7 unable to determine address of site or secure site
-8 unable to obtain server's address
-9 IP address embedded in license doesn’t match server
-10 license is for a different PDG product
-11 operating in different directory than that specified in license
-12 license will expire within seven days
-13 line 2 is empty or corrupt
-14 line 3 is empty or corrupt
-15 line 2 is corrupt, missing character
-16 license is corrupt
-18 version does not match executables
-19 wrong platform specified in license
-20 failed to contact license server (check permissions on shopper.lic)
-101 license server returned no license for this site
-102 license server returned no data for this site
-104 license corrupt, and cannot open backup file
-105 unable to open license file for new license install (check permissions on shopper.lic)
-106 incomplete data returned from license server, license is corrupt
